Life is a balancing act

Have you ever thought that at every moment you have infinite number of activities to choose from and unknowingly or unconsciously you are doing just that, always? From doing small little things to taking big decisions you choose one over several others. You prioritize your day to day activities, you also make changes in your routine, and you postpone certain task to make room for other in your schedule. You also decide whether to study science or arts, whether to play guitar or tabla. But the interesting thing is you can not do all even if you want. In other words, you always have to make a trade off.

Now the question is should we put our brain, should we put our thought into these small, unnoticed, unconscious choices that we relentlessly make throughout our life? May be yes. Then we should be ever conscious. Mind should be alert and vigilant. For this, you have to have a goal. And every decision, every activity, however small it be, should be aligned with your goal. For example, you can spend the weekend in two ways, say, you can relax in the comfort of your sweet home or engage yourself in social work. It depends on your outlook of life. It depends on how you want to live your life, what you want to do in your life. The worst thing is to repent during your last days of life that you should have done this or you should not have done that. These little choices go a long way to make you what you want. That’s why, to live a happy and successful life let your brain do a few more calculations while choosing among many options. Let your each and every activity be in line with your goal and purpose.
